King Udayana once wished to make an image of the Buddha. From that single wish, he initiated the making of Buddhist statues, and enabled us to enjoy all the beautiful sculptures in the Wood Sculpture Gallery today. Many people in the past also made wishes and dedications when they were creating statues. Now, you may also make a buddha statue in the Gallery and write down your wishes—and may all your good wishes be fulfilled!
