Scroll rubbing handmade experience activity
Rubbing is a long-standing method of transferring the contents of cultural relics. By rubbing paper and ink onto the cultural relic, the text or patterns are transferred to the paper, thereby preserving the contents of the cultural relic.Rubbing, a time-honored method of transferring the contents of cultural relics, involves rubbing paper and ink onto the artifact to transfer text or images onto the paper, thus preserving the content. But how is rubbing done? And what interesting historical anecdotes lie behind it? To answer these questions, the museum will be holding a "Rubbing Scroll Crafting Workshop." This workshop will not only introduce the long history of rubbing but also guide you through creating your own unique rubbing. Finally, we'll teach you how to craft your rubbing into a beautiful scroll, allowing you to experience the charm of rubbing culture firsthand!

◆ Materials fee: NT$100 per person (payable at the service counter on the day of the event, and admission ticket must be purchased at the counter) ※ All August sessions are eligible for a summer family discount of NT$300 (includes two tickets + one set of materials)
◆ Location: Experience Classroom, Millennium Monument Exhibition Area, Chung Tai World Museum Main Building
Precautions
◆ Number of participants: 20 per session, first come, first served.
◆ Registration method:
1. Apply online using Google Forms. You will receive an email notification within seven business days of your application to inform you of your acceptance status.
2. Event sessions are subject to change depending on the venue's schedule. Please check the official website, fan page, and registration email for updates. 3. As the event is located inside the exhibition hall, an additional ticket is required for admission.
