2020 We are not closed! New Year days with the museum. "May Good Luck Be with You" New Year activity review.

At the beginning of the year 2020, many people came to Chung Tai World Museum to give their New Year greetings!
"May Good Luck Be with You," is an activity to draw and search for the poems, and make wishes in front of the Guanyin. The activity combines the local customs of greeting and praying on the New Year days, which not only enables the visitors to wish for their safety of the year, but also gives them a therapeutic environment for spiritual relaxations during the busting New Year week. We welcome everyone to "Visit Chung Tai World Museum, and greet to the rat year!"

Everyone was so excited to draw poems for themselves!
Whenever someone open the poems, there are always questionable expressions revealing on visitors' face. Even the children will ask their parents, "Dad, why there are missing words in the blank spaces?" This is because the museum has added a session of poems searching for the purpose of enhancing the interest to the activity. During the session of poems searching, meanwhile, the visitors are able to see the precious ancient objects in the museum!

Within the gallery rooms, we see many heart-moving scenes. As there are parents reading to their children about the meaning behind the poems, "Darling see, the empty spaces on the poems should be "Mindfulness," this is to tell us that..." On the other hand, there are also children reading to their parents, "Dad, here is a sentence for you, if we respect others, it will let us have many friendly connections with people." Even though this session is short, but it pulls the family relationship closer than before, which the museum is very pleased to see.

On the New Year days, what we cannot miss out is to pray and make wishes. After filling the empty spaces on the poem, we return to the praying area at the entrance of the museum. We write down the wishes or resolutions for the year on the wishing cards, and hang them beside the Bodhisattva. Looking at the tiering cards, what they bear is the purest, and kindest thoughts from us, we truly believe the wishes that were made at Chung Tai World Museum will come true!

In order to let more people to participate the 2020 Chung Tai World Museum's New Year activity, the museum is willing to extend the activity until the 10th of February. We welcome people to visit us, and "May Good Luck Be with You!" For the people who did not get a chance to visit the museum during the New Year week, don't miss out the last chance!
